Cold intensifies, Balochistan's roads closed due to heavy snowfall

Lahore: The cold weather continues to prevail across the country, including the provincial capital Lahore.

After rain and snowfall, the connecting roads of northern and upper Balochistan have been closed to traffic. Intermittent snowfall is also continuing in the mountainous areas of Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Due to snowfall, land connectivity in many upper areas has been cut off.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather will remain cold and dry in Islamabad and its surroundings. The weather will also be cold and dry in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while it has been predicted that it will be extremely cold in the upper districts.

The weather is likely to remain cold and dry in most districts of Punjab, while the weather will remain extremely cold and partly cloudy in Murree, Galiyat, and its surroundings. Light to moderate fog may prevail in Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Okara, and Sahiwal.
