Several new features for YouTube users

California: YouTube has introduced several experimental features for users.

These features are currently available to YouTube Premium (monthly fee model) users.

However, it is hoped that they will be introduced to free YouTube users soon.

YouTube Premium users can now enjoy audio streaming of music videos at 256kbps.

Along with this, the company has also introduced four playback speed options.

Now users do not have to be limited to 2x speed but will be able to watch videos at a faster speed.

Premium users will now be able to increase the video playback speed to 4x to improve the experience of watching videos.

Similarly, the Jump Ahead feature will now be available to premium users in the web version as well. Earlier, this feature was limited to the mobile app only.

Based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, this feature allows users to watch the best parts of videos so that they do not waste time watching the entire video.

The company has also introduced a picture-in-picture feature for shorts.

But this feature is currently only available to iPhone users.

Similarly, the Smart Downloads feature for shorts will also be available to users so that they can watch their favorite shorts offline.
