Payment service to be introduced in X soon
Its main objective is to make financial transactions directly part of social media platform

California: Elon Musk has been talking about making X (Twitter) like China's WeChat app for a long time and now there has been significant progress in this regard.
The social media platform is launching ‘X Money’, the main objective of which is to provide payment facilities to X users. This payment service will be officially introduced sometime in 2025.
Its main objective is to make financial transactions directly part of the social media platform, which will help it become a super app.
According to the official account of X Money, it is a solution for all your financial actions, which indicates that the company will introduce several payment features.
X CEO Linda Yaccarino recently announced that ‘X Money’ will be Visa’s first official partner, a partnership that will allow users to send and receive money through Visa Direct.
‘X Money’ will allow users to connect with a debit card to use the payment service.
It will also offer the option to transfer money directly to bank accounts.
The service will be launched in the US first and will then expand to other regions, subject to regulatory and financial approvals.
