Travel restrictions have also been imposed on officials, employees, and their families of the ICC

Washington: US President Donald Trump has signed a presidential order to sanction the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The White House confirmed the US President’s imposition of sanctions on the ICC, saying that the assets of officials, employees, and their families have been frozen.
The White House said that travel restrictions have also been imposed on officials, employees, and their families of the International Criminal Court.
The US President has stated that the ICC has unfairly targeted the United States and Israel and that the criminal court has abused its authority by issuing the warrant for Netanyahu.
It is pertinent to note that last year, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and others.
The International Criminal Court had also issued an arrest warrant for former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of committing war crimes.
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) said that there are reasonable grounds to believe that Netanyahu and Gallant committed war crimes.
Netanyahu and Gallant showed no caution in attacking the civilian population, used starvation as a weapon of war, and war crimes including murder, torture, and other inhumane treatment. These arrest warrants are in the interest of the victims of Gaza and their families.
