He suffered ankle injury while fielding during Test match against South Africa on Jan 3


Lahore: Pakistan's aggressive young batsman Saim Ayub, who suffered an ankle injury during the Test series against South Africa, has been ruled out of cricket for 10 weeks.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued an update regarding Saim's injury, stating that he will be out of cricket for 10 weeks.
Saim Ayub suffered an ankle injury while fielding during the Test match against South Africa on January 3.
According to the PCB announcement, doctors advised Saim Ayub to rest for 10 weeks after an MRI scan, X-rays, and medical reports.
The Pakistan Cricket Board stated Saim is feeling better than before, but his availability for the New Zealand tour will be subject to his fitness, and he will continue his rehab in England.
It is pertinent to note that the white-ball series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played from March 16 to April 5.
