Feature of Google Maps will be helpful for users who own vehicles

California: A new feature is being introduced in Google Maps that the users will like.
This feature of Google Maps will be helpful for users who own vehicles.
According to a report by 9to5 Google, users are being provided with the facility to customize their vehicle icon during navigation in Google Maps.
Four years ago, Google provided the facility to Maps users to change the appearance of their vehicles in the navigation screen.
Till now, four vehicle icons were available in Google Maps, one of which was a regular arrow icon, the second was a yellow SUV, the third was a red vehicle, and the fourth was a green pickup truck option.
But now the facility to customize vehicle icons is being provided in Google Maps for Android devices.
According to the report, this feature is currently available to limited users and through it, they can customize the icon style and color of the vehicle.
Similarly, you can select trip options by clicking on the customize icon where you will see the option of Vehicle icon while navigating.
In this option, you will see five vehicles including a luxury sedan, off-road pickup, SUV, sports car, and hatchback.
You will be able to choose one of eight different colors.
This feature is currently available to limited users, so it is difficult to say when it will be rolled out to all users.
