Arab media say that Iran has rejected the US sanctions, calling them piracy

Washington: US President Donald Trump has imposed more sanctions on Iran.
According to Arab media, these are the first sanctions against Iran since the US President returned to the White House, in which the US Treasury Department has targeted Iran's oil network.
Arab media stated that sanctions have been imposed on individuals, ships, and firms linked to companies already subject to sanctions in Iran.
The US Treasury Secretary has accused Iran of using oil revenues for its nuclear program, ballistic missiles, and drones. Iran is also using its oil revenues to support terrorist groups, so it will take more stringent measures to stop the funding of illegal activities.
Arab media say that Iran has rejected the US sanctions, calling them piracy.
It is pertinent to note that US President Trump has also imposed sanctions on the International Criminal Court before.
