Islamabad: The exports of towels during the 11 months of FY 2020-21 upped by 28.54 per cent as compared to the exports of the corresponding period of FY2019-21.

According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, towels worth $838,507 were exported in July-May 2020-21 as compared to the exports of $652,351 of same period of last year.
The exports of Knitwear were increased by 32.70 per cent to $3,414,300 in the 11 months of FY21 from $2,572,991 in the same period of FY20.
Meanwhile, the exports of Bed wear increased by 24.6 per cent as worth $2,172,782 were exported as compared to the exports of US $ 1,984,502 of same period of last year.
During the period under view, tents, canvas and tarpulin exports jumped by 15.54 per cent as worth $101,649 were exported in the current fiscal year as compared to the exports of $87,975 of same period of FY20.
