Deputy DHO says the deaths of the children were likely caused by a viral illness


Layyah: A mysterious fatal disease has spread in Layyah, resulting in the death of three children, while six other children have been affected.
Local residents report that in Chak 156 TDA of Layyah, three children died due to a viral disease, and six children have been affected.
The Deputy DHO of Layyah stated that the deaths of the children were likely caused by a viral illness, and samples from the children have been taken for laboratory tests. Further investigations are ongoing.
The Deputy District Health Officer mentioned that the affected children have been given protective injections.
Meanwhile, local residents have stated that due to the spread of the fatal disease, the people of the village are confined to their homes.
