Tech Titan Mark Zuckerberg overtakes billionaire rivals to claim #2 spot
Elon Musk is richest person in the world with $402 billion

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has surpassed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to become the world's second-richest person.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Mark Zuckerberg's assets have reached $252 billion, while Jeff Bezos owns $249 billion.
Elon Musk is the richest person in the world with $402 billion.
Mark Zuckerberg owns 12.8 percent of Meta's shares and the increase or decrease in his wealth also depends on the company's shares.
His wealth increased by a staggering $44.4 billion in 2025. In fact, he is still the highest-earning person this year.
Before that, 2024 also proved to be a very good year for Mark Zuckerberg in terms of wealth.
It is pertinent to note that Mark Zuckerberg recently dropped significantly on the list of the richest people in the world.
In 2022, Mark Zuckerberg, who was determined to build the Metaverse, suffered a huge financial loss.
In fact, at one point, his wealth even decreased by more than $100 billion and he dropped out of the top 10 richest people in the world.
Mark Zuckerberg's wealth had dropped to less than $35 billion in 2022 because Meta's share prices fell sharply at that time.
But in 2023, Zuckerberg shifted his focus to the real world, taking steps to reduce the costs of the Meta platform while working more on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
These steps have proven to be beneficial for the company so far.
