Indian oppression against Kashmiris continue as man demanding son’s body charged under ‘draconian’ law
Srinagar: Narendra Modi led Indian government continues to subject Kashmiris to worst form of oppression.

In a latest incident, a man named as Mushtaq Ahmed Wani was charged under the ‘draconian’ Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) law for demanding his 16-year-old son Ather Mushtaq’s dead body, who was martyred by Indian forces in Pulawama, Kashmir.
The family members of the martyred boy were staging a demonstration in the village demanding the return of his body, when police arrested his father and six others under the stringent UAPA law.
Ather Mushtaq was killed by Indian forces in Pulwana last year in December in a fake encounter.
Ather’s father Mushtaq Ahmed Wani has termed his son’s killing as a cold-blooded murder in fake encounter.
The local administration has also refused to return his dead body to the family for burial process.
The incidents of violence against minorities especially Muslims in India have reached its peak during the tenure of Narendra Modi led government.
Last year in March, India’s capital, New Delhi, experienced its worst communal violence with Hindu mobs attacking Muslims. More than 53 people were killed in those incidents.
