Committee will conduct detailed review of FIA overall performance


Islamabad: The Ministry of Interior has formed a five-member special committee to review the performance of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
According to media reports, the committee will be headed by the Director General National Police Bureau (NPB), while other members include the Director Police Bureau, the Joint Secretary Ministry of Interior, the Deputy Commandant National Police Academy, and the Deputy Director of TOC Unit NPB.
The committee will conduct a detailed review of the overall performance of the FIA, registration of cases, arrests of accused, and the performance of various branches of the organization.
According to the reports, a performance audit of the FIA will also be conducted, and the report prepared in this regard will be submitted to the Ministry of Interior.
The Ministry of Interior has issued a formal notification in this regard.
