PTI leadership will soon issue notification to revoke Sher Afzal Marwat’s party membership

(Web Desk): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to expel Member of National Assembly (MNA) Sher Afzal Marwat from the party, and an official notification will be issued soon.
Sources say that PTI founder Imran Khan has instructed the party leadership to take decisive action against Sher Afzal Marwat.
The party leadership will soon issue a notification to revoke Sher Afzal Marwat’s basic membership. Upon revocation of his membership, he will also be asked to resign from his position as an MNA.
Sources indicate that PTI leaders had complained to the party’s founder Imran Khan about Sher Afzal Marwat's conduct during PTI's rally in Swabi.
It is noteworthy that last month, under the guidance of Imran Khan, PTI had issued a show-cause notice to Sher Afzal Marwat.
The notice issued to PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat stated that he speaks without thinking, which results in the party facing consequences.
The show-cause notice addressed Sher Afzal Marwat, mentioning that Imran Khan had been informed about his statements, and following the founder chairman's instructions, the party issued the notice to address his behavior.
According to the show-cause notice, Sher Afzal Marwat was instructed to submit a written response to the party within seven days. If no response was received within the required period, the notice warned of action in accordance with the party's policy.
After receiving the show-cause notice, Sher Afzal Marwat, following advice from his friends, decided to stay away from electronic media for a week or two.
In a statement posted on the social media platform 'X,' he requested media friends not to insist on including him in any program.
It is worth mentioning that in May 2024, Sher Afzal Marwat was also issued a show-cause notice for making irresponsible statements against PTI leaders Shibli Faraz and Omar Ayub.
