In the first phase, 1,892 plots will be provided in 33 schemes in 22 districts


Lahore: The implementation of the decision to provide free plots to homeless people in Punjab has begun.
Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced to provide free three marla plots to needy and destitute homeless people. In the first phase, 1,892 plots will be provided in 33 schemes in 22 districts, 658 plots will be provided in five schemes in four districts of Rawalpindi division, and 288 plots will be provided in four schemes of five districts of the Faisalabad division.
518 plots will be provided in five schemes of three districts of the Lahore region, 131 in seven schemes of the Bhakkar region, 270 in nine schemes of five districts of the Multan region, and 27 in three schemes of the Bahawalpur region. Plots will be provided under the three marla scheme in Hazro, Attock, Jhelum, Gujrat, and Mandi Bahauddin.
The free plot scheme includes Chiniot, Mamo Kanjan, Salanwali, Jhang, Pattoki, Okara, Renala Khurd, Bhakkar, Khushab, Layyah, Vehari, Lodhran, Sahiwal, Chichawatni, Fort Munro, Rajanpur, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz ordered immediate steps to provide free plots to the homeless and needy people.
Maryam Nawaz stated that every citizen of Punjab has his own house. She dreams that the poor and deserving people also have the right to government resources. Free plots will not be a favor to anyone, but they are doing their duty.
