World Taekwondo Asia (WTA) President Kyu Seok Lee has vowed his full support to the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) following consultations with representatives from the country.

WTA President spoke with Omar Saeed, the leader of the team and President of the Pakistan South Asian Taekwondo Federation.
"I am looking forward to seeing some great talent of taekwondo in Pakistan this year," said Lee.
Saeed, who spoke on behalf of PTF President Waseem Janjua, acknowledged Lee for always supporting taekwondo in Pakistan.
He also requested him to the first edition of Pakistan Open, which is due to be rescheduled after it was postponed due to coronavirus last year.
Around 700 athletes were expected to compete in Islamabad before the virus caused the event to be called off.
However, Pakistan was retained as a host with the PTF having already purchased equipment for the event.
The PTF could use the event to blood fighters for 2023 South Asian Games, which Pakistan is scheduled to host in Lahore.
