‘Dislike’ button added to Instagram
Company has confirmed that it is testing this new button for comments

California: Instagram is getting a feature that has never been seen before in the photo-sharing app.
Instagram is indeed testing a ‘dislike’ button in the app.
The company has confirmed that it is testing this new button for comments.
Through this button or feature, users will be able to signal to others that they did not like their comment or that they think it is not related to the post.
This feature has been seen in both Instagram feed posts and reels and is currently available to a limited number of people.
Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said in a post on Threads that the company will not disclose the dislike count and no one will know that you have disliked a comment.
He stated that gradually the ranking of comments will be done through dislikes.
Adam Mosseri added that some of the users may have seen a new button in the comments that they are testing.
According to Adam, through this button, the users will be able to indicate that they did not like a specific comment without revealing their name.
