Meta plans to develop human-like robots using AI technology
Company aims to develop robots that can assist with household chores

(Web Desk): Meta has started planning to develop human-like robots based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
According to a report by Bloomberg, the social media company is working on creating human-like robot hardware and wants to use AI technology for this purpose.
Previously, Meta has developed virtual reality headsets and smart glasses.
However, now the company aims to develop robots that can assist with household chores.
The report mentioned that no final decision has been made yet, but this option has not been ruled out either.
It was further reported that Meta has initiated talks with robot manufacturing companies like Figure AI and others, to provide them with the software, sensors, and computing packages developed by Meta Reality Labs.
Meta's division will also focus on developing robotics safety standards.
Meta's CTO Andrew Bosworth wrote in an internal memo that the investments and advancements Meta is making in Reality Labs and AI will be used to move forward in the field of robotics.
He said that they believe that the addition of Meta products will enhance the value of Meta AI.
