Maria B slams Women's March, labels it ‘a march of unsuccessful women’
‘It was failed march of women, in which hatred was expressed towards successful women’

(Web Desk): Pakistan's renowned fashion designer Maria B criticized the Women's March, calling it a "march of unsuccessful women," and also hit back at those who criticized her.
Maria B shared a video on social media platform, Instagram, where she openly expressed her stance on the Women’s March held in Lahore earlier this month.
She criticized the organizers of the march, stating that they work with a specific agenda. According to the fashion designer, the public has rejected the Women's March. She stated that it was a failed march of women, in which hatred was expressed towards successful women.
Maria B referenced the criticism she and actress Mishi Khan faced during the march, mentioning the placards directed at them, and said, "What you did shows the level of your upbringing." She added that the Pakistani public had already rejected the Women’s March a few years ago, but the organizers still haven’t realized it.
She said that Pakistani women want to be independent and successful while adhering to the principles of Islam. She further criticized the organizers, stating, "We understand now that you are being funded to work with a specific agenda."
In response to Maria B's video, Mishi Khan commented, "Thank you, Maria B, you gave these people the best reply."
It is pertinent to mention here that on February 12, the Women's March was held in Lahore on National Women's Day, with not only women but also minority genders participating. During the march, placards criticizing both actress Mishi Khan and designer Maria B were seen, and both women were targeted.
