55 percent of Pakistanis are reporting improvement in business


Islamabad: Gallup Pakistan has said that there are clear signs of progress in the right direction of the Pakistani economy.
According to a recent Gallup survey, business confidence in Pakistan has gradually increased. The survey data indicates that the country's economy is moving in the right direction. 55 percent of Pakistanis are reporting improvement in business. Business confidence in Pakistan has increased by 10 percent in the last six months.
The survey report states that business expectations regarding the future in Pakistan have increased by 19 percent, which indicates a positive trend. The perception of uncertainty in the business situation in Pakistan has decreased by 7 percent. Business confidence regarding the future has increased by 36 percent, which is a positive sign for the business community.
According to the report, inflation and interest rate reduction in the country are the main factors behind the increase in business confidence. The business community reported a decrease in electricity load shedding while 56 percent reported no load shedding. The recent Gallup survey indicates that the confidence of business people in the commercial sector has been restored.
This latest survey is the 14th edition of the quarterly Business Confidence Survey. Gallup Pakistan conducted the latest survey in more than 30 districts of the country during which 482 small, medium, and large businesses were surveyed.
According to economists, the Business Confidence Index is an important barometer that reflects the sentiments of the business community in any country. The Business Confidence Index is used by policymakers all over the world.
