(Web Desk): A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Lahore to Dubai narrowly avoided a major accident after a bird struck the engine of the Airbus on flight PK 203.
The captain immediately contacted air traffic control and requested an emergency landing.
The plane, carrying more than 150 passengers, landed safely.
PIA has sent an engineering team from Karachi on flight PK 304 to Lahore Airport for further inspection. The team will conduct a boreoscopic check to assess any damage to the aircraft's engine caused by the bird strike.
