20 more Pakistanis deported from seven countries

Islamabad: Another 20 Pakistanis were deported from seven different countries including Germany, France, Cambodia, and Brazil.

According to immigration authorities, four Pakistanis in Brazil refused to go on the next flight and requested political asylum from immigration but were deported, while on arrival in Karachi, they were detained and transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC).

It is also reported that in the last 24 hours, four Pakistanis were deported for being blacklisted in Saudi Arabia and one was deported for losing his passport.

According to media reports, a Pakistani in France requested to be automatically sent back on emergency documents, while three Pakistanis were sent back on emergency passports after losing their travel documents in Cambodia, Oman, and Germany.

Two people were deported in Oman for working outside the jurisdiction, four absconding in the Emirates, while the name of a citizen who returned from Dubai was found on the blacklist in the IBMS.

On the other hand, 28 passengers from seven countries including Germany, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Saudi Arabia were offloaded by immigration in the last 24 hours from Karachi for various reasons.

While traveling from Karachi to Saudi Arabia, 17 Umrah pilgrims were offloaded from flights for not having adequate money for advance hotel booking and expenses, and one passenger’s name was also found in the IBMS.

In addition, six passengers on visit visas from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Bahrain were also offloaded.

Three passengers going to Saudi Arabia on work visas from Karachi and one passenger on a German work visa were also offloaded from flights for not having relevant documents.
