Rawalpindi, Islamabad received heavy rain after a long time


Lahore: The weather in Punjab was pleasant, with heavy rain in some places and drizzle in others, and cool winds made the weather pleasant.
It rained in Lahore, Chichawatni, Ferozwala, Gojra, Faisalabad, and other cities. Cloudy weather also fell in different Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, and Azad Kashmir areas. Power supply was suspended in many areas due to feeder trips. The weather turned cold due to heavy rain in Peshawar.
Rain fell in different areas of Balochistan. It rained intermittently in various cities, including Quetta, and the cold intensified. Cloudy weather also fell in different areas of Sindh including Ghotki, Obaro, and surrounding areas.
More rain has been predicted in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan today. A hailstorm has been predicted in the Potohar region. The risk of landslides and avalanches has increased in the mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rawalpindi and Islamabad received heavy rain after a long time. Snow also fell on Koh Safaid, which increased the cold.
In addition, hail may also occur in a few places in the Potohar region and northeastern Punjab.
