Committee meeting to see moon of Ramadan will be held in Peshawar


Islamabad: The federal government is working to hold Ramadan simultaneously across the country.
It has been decided to convene a meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee in Peshawar to see the moon of Ramadan 1446 AH.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs said that the meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to see the moon of Ramadan will be held in Peshawar on February 28, 2025. Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the meeting.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs says that the zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will hold meetings at their respective places. The central committee will announce whether the moon has been sighted or not. The arrangements for the meeting will be under the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
