50-year-old Rekha Gupta will be fourth female Chief Minister of Delhi

Delhi: The Indian political party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the name of a female Chief Minister for Delhi.
According to Indian media, the Bharatiya Janata Party nominated Rekha Gupta as the Chief Minister of Delhi yesterday, two weeks after the announcement.
According to Indian media, 50-year-old Rekha Gupta will be the fourth female Chief Minister of Delhi.
Before her, women from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Aam Aadmi Party, and Congress have held this position.
Rekha Gupta had defeated the Aam Aadmi Party candidate by more than 29,000 votes in the assembly elections held on February 5.
