Gandapur says that just as laptops are being provided to certain percentage of students in Punjab, they will also provide laptops to same percentage in KP


Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's students will now receive free laptops, as announced by Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, who has taken an important step for the students of the province.
In a statement, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur said that just as laptops are being provided to a certain percentage of students in Punjab, they will also provide laptops to the same percentage in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). He also demanded that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz provide free health cards to the citizens of Punjab, following the example of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's government.
The KP Chief Minister said that they have given Health Card Plus to their entire population and are now providing life insurance facilities. He urged the Punjab government to extend these benefits to its entire population as well.
He mentioned that despite difficult circumstances, they have increased their revenue by 55%, and he challenged Punjab to increase its revenue from 12% to 55%.
CM Gandapur also stated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has a surplus of Rs176 billion in the treasury, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the only province to meet the IMF's target.
The KP Chief Minister said that Punjab had been given a target of a Rs300 billion surplus by the IMF, but the Punjab government ended up with a deficit of Rs146 billion.
Gandapur added that they are facilitating the marriages of 4,000 deserving girls, providing Rs 200,000 for each.
The KP Chief Minister concluded by challenging that Punjab's performance does not even match 1% of their own.
