‘All thanks to the mercy of Almighty Allah’, says PM over Pakistan’s pandemic handling
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday praised all organizations that played vital and active role during coronavirus pandemic.

The premier commended the performance of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Ehsaas team for their response during the global pandemic that was acknowledged by ‘The Economist’ in its report.
On his official twitter handle, the Prime Minister shared an article and wrote, “Congratulations to NCOC members, Ehsaas team & State Bank of Pakistan for effective response to Covid 19 pandemic”.
He further added, “Above all thanks to the mercy of Almighty Allah”.

Pakistan has ranked third in The Economist’s Global Normalcy Index, out of 50 countries.
The Economist’s ‘normalcy index’ determine which countries are returning to their pre-pandemic levels, by grading each country using eight indicators. The indicators include time not at home, retail, office use, public transport, road traffic, flights, cinema and sports attendance.
As per report, Hong Kong and New Zealand are currently at the top two places that have implemented effective measures against the COVID and suffered relatively few deaths.
