Champions Trophy: South Africa win toss to bat against Afghanistan

Karachi: In the third match of the champions trophy 2025, South Africa has won the toss to bat against Afghanistan.

According to the details, the match is being played between South Africa and Afghanistan.

African captain Temba Bavuma, speaking on the occasion of the toss, said: ‘We are confident in ourselves and will try to score well’.

Captain of the Afghanistan cricket team Hashmatullah stated that if we had won the toss and elected to bat, we would be happy if we got off to a good start.

Hashmatullah added that they have played good cricket against South Africa before.

It is pertinent to note that New Zealand defeated Pakistan in the first match of the Champions Trophy and India defeated Bangladesh in the second match.
