Total of 47,000 Pakistani businesses are registered in UAE

Dubai: Pakistanis have set up more than 8,000 new companies in the UAE in a year, making them the second largest group of Pakistanis setting up new businesses in 2024.
A total of 47,000 Pakistani businesses are registered in the UAE, with the largest number of companies registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, namely more than 16,500 Indian companies.
5,300 new companies were registered under the ownership of Egyptian citizens, and more than 2,600 British citizens also registered new companies.
1,718 companies were registered in the name of Iraqi citizens, and 1,314 companies were registered by Turkish citizens in the UAE last year.
Pakistani Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, while talking to a private TV, said that the number of Pakistani investors in the UAE market is increasing. More Pakistanis coming to Dubai for business is better for both countries, and more investment will help the country send more remittances back.
