Services of 20,000 health inspectors will be obtained in Punjab through outsourcing


Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to introduce Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services in the province.
A meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reviewed the issues related to health facilities in the province.
The meeting decided to introduce Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services in Punjab which will complete 19 important tasks of the health sector.
The services of 20,000 health inspectors will be obtained in Punjab through outsourcing. The Lady Health Workers Program will also be linked to Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services, under which 39,000 lady health workers will be part of the Health Services force.
The workforce of Community Health Services will consist of more than 60,000 people. Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services will be responsible for polio and other vaccinations. Authentic records of patients will be compiled through Community Health Services.
The meeting was informed that 93 percent of patients are satisfied with the reforms related to health services. The task of mapping will also be completed by Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam has called for a comprehensive plan related to community health services and ordered immediate steps to activate community health services.
