Police believe victim was shot and killed by unidentified assailants


Lahore: A dead body has been discovered at the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former provincial minister, Mian Aslam Iqbal, in the Samanabad area of Lahore. The body, which bore gunshot wounds, was found in the servant quarters of Iqbal’s residence located in the New Mazzang area of Samanabad.
Police believe the victim was shot and killed by unidentified assailants.
According to Lahore police, they received reports of the incident and arrived at the scene promptly. The body was taken into custody, and evidence was collected from the location before being transferred to the morgue for further examination.
Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators, and police are hopeful of making arrests soon.
