Russia has labeled this attack as terrorism and has demanded clarification from France regarding security measures

(Web Desk): A bombing attack was carried out with explosive materials at the Russian Consulate in the southern French city of Marseille.
According to the police, on Monday, three bottles filled with explosive materials were thrown into the consulate's premises, two of which exploded. The police stated that these bottles landed in the consulate’s garden, and experts are analyzing their contents.
Following the incident, the consulate staff was instructed to stay inside the building for a while, and during this time, a bomb disposal squad inspected the area. There have been no reports of casualties from the attack on the Russian consulate.
Russia has labeled this attack as terrorism and has demanded clarification from France regarding security measures. According to Russia's state news agency TASS, Russian officials have also called for a full investigation.
This incident comes at a time when it marks the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. A spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the bombing at the Russian consulate in Marseille shows all signs of terrorism.
French authorities have initiated an investigation, but no details have yet emerged regarding the motives behind the attack or the perpetrators. The French government has also condemned the attack.
