‘Salamah’ processes visa applications in seconds through advanced algorithms

Dubai: The UAE has launched an artificial intelligence (AI) system called ‘Salamah’ to make visa renewal and other residency services faster and easier.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai announced that this innovative platform will enable users to renew visas, make payments, and complete other residency matters in seconds.
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri said that the aim of digital transformation is not just to provide services but also to improve government efficiency and provide convenience to users.
According to Colonel Khalid bin Madia Al Falasi, ‘Salamah’ processes visa applications in seconds through advanced algorithms.
The system supports more than 40 languages, with more languages to be added in the future.
After logging in via UAE Pass, the system automatically identifies the user’s details, displays documents, and provides instant renewal.
Any individual can complete a visa renewal in seconds, demonstrating the speed of the new service.
The system will also provide services for companies in the future, further boosting Dubai’s digital transformation strategy.
