ISPR releases 'Dushman Sun' song on sixth anniversary of Operation Swift Retort
ISPR says February 27 is reaffirmation of resolve to give strong response to any aggression against country’s sovereignty


(Web Desk): On the completion of six years of Operation Swift Retort, the Pakistan Army's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a song titled "Dushman Sun" (Enemy, Listen).
In a statement issued by ISPR, it was mentioned that the song expresses the commitment and pledge of the nation's brave sons for the defense of the country. February 27, 2019, is a significant day in the history of the nation, symbolizing the professional expertise of the armed forces and the determination of the Pakistani people.
According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army, on February 27, the Pakistan Air Force successfully thwarted a border violation by shooting down two Indian fighter jets. During this operation, an Indian pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan, was also captured.
ISPR stated that February 27 is a reaffirmation of the resolve to give a strong response to any aggression against the country’s sovereignty. The song serves as a challenge to every enemy of the beloved homeland.
The lyrics of the song were written by Ahmad Azim, and the beautiful song was sung and composed by Kamran Allah Khan.
