Queensland: 14 people have died from a dangerous bacteria found in the soil in Australia.
According to the health services director, it was reported that the disease called Melioidosis spreads through bacteria found in soil or mud, and it typically appears after heavy rains and floods.
According to the media reports, flooding occurred in some parts of Queensland this month due to more than 59 inches of rainfall.
According to Queensland Health data, so far this year, 94 people have been affected by this bacteria, and the disease spreads through the respiratory system or by entering the bloodstream.
