Karachi: England's first wicket fell for 9 runs against South Africa in the 11th match of the ICC Champions Trophy on Saturday.
According to the details, the match is being played at National Stadium Karachi and will start at 2:00pm.
At the start of the match for the English team, English opener Phil Salt returned to the pavilion after scoring 8 runs, after which Jamie Smith also fell to South African bowler Jensen for a duck.
It is pertinent to note that both teams are playing 3rd match of the series. South Africa had won one match against Afghanistan. While, England has not won any match yet.
The crucial ICC Champions Trophy match between Afghanistan and Australia was called off due to rain on Friday, after which the Australian team reached the semi-finals, but the path has become extremely difficult for the Afghan team.
If England, which has already been eliminated from the trophy race, defeats South Africa by a large margin today, then Afghanistan may be able to reach the semi-finals.
