Legal siege tightens around YouTuber Rajab, to be booked under PECA Act
Investigation of the case will be conducted under PECA Act along with other provisions


Lahore: It has been decided to include provisions of the PECA Act in the case filed against TikToker and YouTuber Rajab Butt, Haider Shah, Man Dogar, and seven others.
The plaintiff in the case against Rajab Butt and his associates had accused him of harassing and threatening them on TikTok.
According to the SSP Investigation, provisions of the PECA Act will be applied in the case filed against Rajab Butt, and consultations are underway with the legal team in this regard.
It is pertinent to note that a case was registered against Rajab Butt, Man Dogar, Haider Shah, and other associates on the complaint of social media artist Omar Fayyaz.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the plaintiff had taken the position that Rajab Butt, Man Dogar, and Haider Shah came home with armed men in the morning. While Dogar abused and threatened him during TikTok live.
It is pertinent to note that all the accused have been interrogated on interim bail. According to the police, the investigation of the case will be conducted under the PECA Act along with other provisions.
