(Web Desk): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced new banking hours for Ramadan to accommodate fasting schedules.
Banks will open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, with no breaks during the day. On Fridays, the working hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
For public services, banks will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and on Fridays, services will close at 12:30 p.m.
The SBP confirmed that all commercial banks, development finance institutions, and microfinance banks will follow these new hours during Ramadan.
