According to report, the registration process will begin at 11am (local time) via authority’s official website

(Web Desk): The General Authority for Care of the Two Holy Mosques in Saudi Arabia has announced that registration for Itikaf at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah will start on March 5, according to Saudi Gazette.
According to the report, the registration process will begin at 11am (local time) via the authority’s official website. Registration will continue until all available spots are filled. The authority will issue permits for Itikaf online, following specific guidelines and requirements.
Itikaf is a religious practice observed during Ramadan. In the final ten days of the month, Muslims stay in a mosque for continuous prayer and worship, isolating themselves from daily life. This practice is based on the example of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and provides an opportunity to strengthen one’s connection with Allah.
Itikaf at the two holy mosques will begin on Ramadan 20 (March 20) and last until the end of Ramadan.
