Latest Core i7 laptops of Generation 13 will be provided to the students


Lahore: It is good news for the students of Punjab that the provincial government has announced a laptop scheme. The link has been advertised on the website of the Higher Education Department, where BS students can apply online.
Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, while announcing the launch of the laptop scheme, said that under the Chief Minister Punjab Laptop Scheme, the latest laptops will be distributed to 110,000 students.
First and second-semester BS students of public sector educational institutions will be able to apply for the scheme.
The Education Minister said that the latest Core i7 laptops of Generation 13 will be provided to the students. The official link for the online application has been advertised, which is also available on the website of the Punjab Higher Education Department with all the information.
The Education Minister further said that students can apply online at https://cmlaptophed.punjab.gov.pk/.
The Education Minister added that 65 percent merit has been set for BS students and 80 percent for medical students. This merit will be determined based on intermediate marks. Rana Sikandar Hayat further said that more than 34,000 students registered within a few hours after the portal of the laptop scheme was opened.
