Intermittent rain and snowfall occurred in different areas of Azad Kashmir


Murree: Rain and snowfall continued in Galiyat and more than 2 feet of snow fell in Changla Gali and Thandiani.
Snowfall stopped in Murree which was recorded up to one foot. Intermittent rain and snowfall occurred in different areas of Azad Kashmir, and roads in several upper regions including the Lipa Highway were closed.
Rain fell in upper and central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and Gilgit Baltistan. Mercury was -7 in Leh, -4 in Kalam, Quetta, and Ziarat, -3 in Malam Jabba, and Murree, and -2 in Astore and Para Chinar.
Today, the weather will remain dry in most parts of the country and extremely cold in the mountainous areas, strong winds are likely in the plains.
