Charity, donations should be given only to organizations registered with Punjab Charity Commission


Lahore: The Punjab Home Department has issued a list of banned organizations and unregistered charities.
Citizens have been instructed not to give charity to unregistered and banned charities.
According to the Home Department spokesperson, providing any kind of support to banned organizations is a crime.
Registration with the Punjab Charity Commission is mandatory for charitable organizations in Punjab.
According to the spokesperson, Zakat, charity, and donations should be given only to organizations registered with the Punjab Charity Commission. Details of registered organizations can be found on the Charity Commission website.
The Home Department spokesperson has said that citizens should ensure that their aid is reaching the rightful beneficiaries instead of terrorists.
