Team will play five T20Is and three ODIs


Lahore: Pakistan cricket team has left for New Zealand to play against Kiwis.
The national cricket team will play five T20 Internationals and three One Day Internationals (ODIs) against New Zealand.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the national T20 squad left for New Zealand from Lahore, and the team will reach New Zealand via Dubai.
It is pertinent to note that the five-match T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand will start in Christchurch on March 16.
16-member T20 squad
Salman Ali Agha (c), Shadab Khan (vc), Abbas Afridi, Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, Hassan Nawaz, Irfan Khan Niazi, Jehandad Khan, Khushdil Shah, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Haris, Umair Bin Yousuf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sufyan Muqeem, and Usman Khan.
The Pakistan team also includes Abdul Samad and Hassan Nawaz, who are selected for the Pakistan team for the first time.
Vice-captain of the cricket team, Shadab Khan, said that he has been given a new responsibility and will try to play well.
He added that the team includes a lot of young players. The energy among the youth is different and positive. There are high hopes for the players who are becoming a part of the team for the first time. Hopefully, we will be successful.
