According to security sources, the attack was carried out by foreign militants who attempted to storm the military post. However, the Pakistan Army swiftly responded, neutralizing the threat and preventing the militants from breaching the facility.
In a desperate attempt to escalate the assault, one of the terrorists drove a vehicle packed with explosives toward the Frontier Corps (FC) camp located nearby. The suicide bomber detonated the vehicle in close proximity to the camp, but fortunately, no significant casualties were reported from the army side.
Despite the intense situation, security forces successfully repelled the assault. Security sources confirmed that during the exchange of fire, 8 to 9 militants were killed, effectively neutralizing the threat and ensuring the safety of the post and personnel.
