Lahore: Armed security guards of a VIP opened fire on a car driver at the Beijing Underpass in the Dharmapura area of Lahore, but the young man showed courage and overpowered the guard who opened fire. The video of the incident went viral on social media.
According to a news report, armed guards of a private security company opened fire on a car driver at the Dharmapura Underpass, tortured him, and fled the scene.
A video clip of the incident has gone viral on social media in which armed security guards assigned to guard a luxury vehicle can be seen openly violating the law and displaying weapons.
In the video clip, it can be seen that the traffic on the underpass slowed down after a bitter exchange of words between the security guards and the car driver.

Meanwhile, more than a dozen men armed with modern weapons got out of double-cabin vehicles, surrounded the car driver, and started a heated argument. At the same time, one of the armed men pointed his weapon at the car driver and opened fire, one bullet hitting the body of the citizen’s car.
A young man riding a motorcycle at the scene came to the support of the car driver. At the same time, the young man took a bold step, got out of his vehicle, and overpowered the guard who was firing. The young man was later identified as Muhammad Imran through his social media post.
The footage shows that other armed men came to the aid of their comrade, beat the young car driver in public, saved the guard, and fled the scene.
However, the armed men saw that the Dolphin Police were reaching the scene and the situation could be difficult for them, so they preferred to leave one of their vehicles and some rifles on the road and flee due to the traffic jam.
A spokesperson for the Lahore Police said that Dolphin Police reached the spot after receiving information and seized the abandoned vehicle and weapons of the fleeing security guards, but the suspects could not be traced.
He said that DIG Lahore Operations Faisal Kamran, taking notice of the incident, has issued an order to register a case against the security guards and an unknown person under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
He stated that a police team had been formed to track down and arrest the attackers with the help of Safe City cameras.
Meanwhile, the young man who was attacked introduced himself on social media as Muhammad Imran, who is a businessman by profession. He said that the security guard tried to fire at him and control him for the second time, after which he took this step.
Case registered, 4 suspects arrested
According to reports, Lahore Police has registered a case of the incident at the complaint of the victim citizen Imran. According to the police, provisions of attempted murder, torture, and harassment have been included in the case.
According to the FIR, guards wearing security uniforms riding in black vehicles assaulted the man and opened fire as soon as they stopped the car.
According to the police, four accused involved in the incident were arrested yesterday, while legal action is also being taken against the security company.
