Suicide terrorist has been identified as Hafiz Shams, resident of Balochistan


Lahore: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police arrested a suicide bomber after an alleged encounter on Barki Road, Lahore.
According to a CTD spokesperson, a raid was conducted on the outskirts of Barki on a tip-off to arrest two terrorists, when the suspects opened fire. One suicide terrorist was caught in the crossfire while the other escaped injured.
The spokesperson said that a suicide jacket, safety fuse wire, and explosives were recovered from the arrested terrorist. A search operation has been launched to find the escaped terrorist.
According to the spokesperson, the suicide terrorist has been identified as Hafiz Shams, a resident of Balochistan, and had planned a major attack in Lahore.
