Initiative is part of provincial government's efforts to assist low-income students and promote inclusive education

(Web Desk): The Sindh government has introduced a scholarship program to help students from minority communities continue their education.
According to the provincial minority affairs department, students must have passed their exams in the previous year with at least 50% marks to be eligible. Applicants should also be permanent residents of Sindh and belong to minority communities. Additionally, the scholarships are for students whose parents have a monthly income of Rs35,000 or less. Each selected student will receive a grant of Rs25,000.
This initiative is part of the provincial government's efforts to assist low-income students and promote inclusive education.
In another move to support the people of Sindh, the provincial government recently launched a job portal aimed at creating more job opportunities. The portal will feature job listings from both government and private sector organizations. The launch event was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, and other important figures from the business community.
Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon highlighted that 65% of Pakistan’s population is young, and the portal has been developed to help meet their employment needs. The portal allows both educated individuals and skilled workers to upload their CVs. It will not only provide government job listings but also connect job seekers with opportunities in the private sector.
