‘Matter of increasing hiring limits for employees is under consideration’


(Web Desk): Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb has stated that there is no proposal under consideration to increase the salaries of government employees in the upcoming budget.
In a written response submitted to the National Assembly, Federal Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb informed that there is no proposal to increase the salaries of government employees for the next fiscal year, nor is there any consideration to revise employees' allowances or pay scales.
The Finance Minister also informed the National Assembly that there is no proposal under consideration to increase the pensions of federal government employees. However, the matter of increasing the hiring limits for employees is under consideration.
