TTP camps destroyed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during police operation

(Web Desk): During a search and strike operation in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the police destroyed temporary hideouts of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The Lakki Marwat police carried out the operation in the border areas, where temporary TTP hideouts were destroyed with bombs. According to the police, a camp located in the mountains at the junction of Karak and Mianwali was also demolished.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stated that all temporary shelters along the Abbasah Khattak area and the Punjab border will be eliminated. The cleanup operation will continue until the last hideout is destroyed.

Additionally, militants attacked the Khyber Jamrud Bypass checkpoint, injuring police personnel Kaleem and Liaquat, while the terrorists managed to flee with injuries.

In Peshawar, unidentified individuals carried out a grenade attack on the Police Station Regi's Malazai checkpoint, but no casualties occurred.

Meanwhile, in Lakki Marwat, an attack on the Gambila police station was successfully repelled. Police stated that the terrorists fled after retaliatory fire, and no casualties were reported in the attack.

Earlier on Saturday night, militants launched attacks in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Karak, Tank, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan, all of which were thwarted by the police.
