Watchman opens fire on headmaster in Nowshera school over TikTok dispute

Nowshera: A violent incident unfolded at Government Primary School Syed Akbar when a watchman opened fire on the headmaster after being stopped from making a TikTok video on the school premises. However, no injuries were reported.

The incident occurred when the headmaster intervened and asked the watchman to stop recording his video during school hours. In response, the watchman became enraged and fired at the headmaster. The gunshot caused widespread panic, with students terrified by the sudden violence.

The police were alerted immediately and responded swiftly to the scene, arresting the watchman.

In light of the serious incident, the District Education Officer (DEO) of Nowshera announced the formation of an inquiry committee to investigate the matter thoroughly. The committee is expected to submit a detailed report within the next seven days.
