Main goal of visit is to strengthen relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, improve economic cooperation, and encourage investment between two countries

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has left for Saudi Arabia on an official visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation. According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the visit will take place from March 19 to 22, 2025.
The main goal of the visit is to strengthen the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, improve economic cooperation, and encourage investment between the two countries.
The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, along with other important federal ministers and senior officials.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. The meeting will focus on boosting trade, expanding partnerships in key sectors, and exploring ways to increase economic cooperation.
The two leaders are also expected to discuss matters of mutual interest, including global and regional issues, especially the situation in Gaza and the Middle East, as well as concerns related to the Muslim world.
